You know how authors are always worried about reaching a certain word count? I confess something...I don't worry about that. At all! When I finish a writing session, I must go behind myself and delete, delete, delete. All those pesky "fill" words and phrases that bog down my writing. I'm getting better at it, I think. Better at not being so wordy in my work...but it's hard, you know? It takes me 10k words just to say "hi", so I'll probably talk your ear off when I see you, but that's just how I wired.
